Summary

Transsonora was abandoned by the Mexican government in 2043, after 8 years of attempting to fight the wildfires in the region came close to making the government bankrupt. As a solution, the Mexican government forced the states to secede, and then proceeded to create a state-owned corporation to manage the territories and lease it to tenants.
