Summary
HardWare refers to one of the types of modifications that can be made to WetWare devices, just like ChipWare.
In order to initially have HardWare installed, a patient must see an augmentation technician of some sort, to have the initial install done. If the patient has the HardWare installed to an Augmentation, then they can remove/install the HardWare at will.
If the patient has the HardWare installed to a Replacement, then they must re-visit an Augmentation Technician in order to have it removed or changed.
HardWare drags and drops directly onto the second, purple row of slots, when the part is right-clicked, on the character's body modification display.
Usually, anything with physical parts as a modification to the item is HardWare.
