Summary

Augmentations or Augs or formally Augmentation Kits, are a form of WetWare. These, unlike Replacements are a form of WetWare Body Modifications, that modify your existing limbs.

Description

Augmentations are popular throughout the SPRAWL-Enabled world, with the WetWare Catalog being the most prominent and popular in Ukiyo City.

Installation

Augmentations are usually either self-installed with the proper tools, or, installed by a MEDTECH, RipperDoc, or some sort of individual with the know-how to do so.

The process for installing an Augmentation Kit to a person's body involves invasive surgical procedures, as well as partially-automated processes using Foglettes.
