LOL builds are much more common than lvlan builds.

In the new update, players feel like this won't be the case anymore. Each team also has a set of champions, or heros.

It's true that, while the season-long event is pretty much done now, we're in the closing weeks of the year-long thing.
But if Riot wanted to make something permanent, they would be going about it the wrong way.

You can really tell as you get better that you are improving. Every bot will pick a champion and test it out.
