ChipWare

Summary

ChipWare refers to products used in further modification of one's WetWare. As you go higher up in the grades/classes of the WetWare you use, you increase your total capacity for ChipWare slots.

ChipWare modify how one's Augmentations or Replacements (WetWare) function - sometimes enabling new abilities for that WetWare, entirely

Usage with Augmentation Kits

ChipWare can be placed at-will by the user, onto an Augmentation Kit, anywhere on their body.

ChipWare requires a specialist (MEDTECH/RipperDoc/Something with the Body-Doctor flags) to be removed from the Augmentation Kit, but is relatively easy, and simple.

Usage with Replacement Kits

ChipWare can be placed at-will by the user, onto a Replacement Kit, anywhere on their body.

ChipWare cannot be removed from the replacement, once placed, except without extensive and expensive assistance from a specialist.

(Replacement kits can be removed from the body, at-will, however.)
