Territory of Baja California

Description

Baja California, also known as the Baja Peninsula, is home to a permanent state of the Burning Man festival. Baja California is largely inhabited by the successors of the Hippie movement, using the swathes of largely deserted land as a place to exercise their beliefs in an ideal society. Functionally, the Territory of Baja California operates as a series of peaceful, nomadic, trash-free, and free-loving communes, most of which retain close connection with each other. Every 14 days, the communes gather in the deserted city of Tijuana, and a large strawman is assembled and burnt down to great cheer and celebration.

The Territory of Baja California is largely isolationist, with its only recognizable diplomatic ties being between itself and Assembly.
