Summary

Augmented Reality, or AR, is a common method of displaying information, or otherwise integrating the user experience with the physical infrastructure of the SprawlState, and information about themselves.

AR has become an increasingly common feature of things varying from your standard fashion sunglasses, to helmet visors, to integration with Optical WetWare via ChipWare modifications.

Where cheaper devices tend to come with a set "amount" or "type" of information displayed and supported through the product, higher-end pieces tend to communicate directly with someone's Neural Stack, in the same way that all weapons use their own protocol for AR display of information pertaining to the weapon, which is via SmartLink.

With prescription eyeglasses, for those still using them, a basic Augmented Reality display that shows information pertaining to one's phone, or one's health, or other common information, such as navigation, or news, is something that typically comes standard with all prescription eyeglasses sales.
