League Of Legends Builds
If anything, Team Envy has had an exceptional regular season. — Marc Merrill (@marc_merrill) September 15, 2016
It's true that, while the season-long event is pretty much done now, we're in the closing weeks of the year-long thing.
But if Riot wanted to make something permanent, they would be going about it the wrong way. With four teams left, each team can potentially claim the Summoner’s Cup as their prize for being the best team.
And with the world championships just around the corner, the final teams and what they will need to do in their quest to claim the Summoner’s Cup aren’t hard to figure out.
I think when we have no support champions, we also tend to have no jungler champion.
This leaves other lanes with really low pressure; since supports don’t need to be as aggressive as their counterparts, you can just build whatever you want in other lanes, which is great for your composition, but it kind of leaves your lane uninteresting.
Team EnVyUs (Nexus), led by jungler Maurice "Wickd" Petersen, beat Team Immortals (TBD) 2-1, and are set to meet Team Dignitas, who had to do a 3-2 series win to oust CLG, in a best-of-seven series this week. Prediction: Team Envy to win 3-1
The most intriguing matchup will likely be the series between Team Immortals and Team Envy.
It's not like they're changing their minds.
PST, and I expect the matchup will feature two of the best to come out of North America this season. This week’s LCS final pits two of the top teams from the NA LCS. With no true nemesis, Team Envy is the perfect final four team.
This team will be looking to sweep their final opponent and go back to the world championship as World Champions.
The patch is being developed in an effort to make this iteration the most balanced and diverse one to date. I think it’s a bit weird that every champion can carry because they’re good in teamfights and they’re strong in a duel. Games from week nine and beyond will take place in Seattle.
Game one of this finals series will be taking place Wednesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m.
If they want a
support, then they will pick a champion with CC that does well in
teamfights, such as a kitty.
The winner of that series goes to the Summoner’s Cup. Expect both teams to make bold plays as the game will be going down at a very fast pace. According to Riot Games’ Director of Esports, Nick Perruzzi, one of the new features that they have been testing the past couple of months is a champion that aims to fix one of the biggest issues players have encountered in past games, namely the lack of a support.
Games will be taking place at multiple LCS venues, including Key Arena in Seattle and the Target Center in Minneapolis. The new lol patch have been in full swing for the past year, and we are finally getting closer to the release of the newest iteration, dubbed LoL 11.13.
How will the finals play out?
Unlike other professional sports, League of Legends will not have its games being played in a single location.
Supports can really take care of the bottom lane and jungle lanes, since junglers don’t do a lot in other lanes, and the lack of these roles makes it very clear who has to carry.
If they can win in the finals, they will win the LCS. They’re strong solo, so they carry if they want to, and they’re strong in teamfights because they’re good at putting people under pressure with their CC, their movement speed, and their damage." Perruzzi went on to outline the issues that come with a lack of support champions, citing the following reasons: "Support champions make it very clear who is the strongest and weak link on a team; they make for a lot of snowballing, but not many snowball fights.
The winner of that series can also lay claim to the most prestigious championship trophy in the world: the Summoner’s Cup.
This is all because Team Envy is the most established team in the LCS. What we did in the last few months is essentially made every champ a meta champion. As for the last challenger, it will be Team Dignitas’ first time facing off against an NA team in the league of legends build of Legends Championship Series.
So in teamfights we have an offensive champion, and we have an
offensive champion.
This is the team that won the League of Legends Championship Series three times in a row from 2015 to 2017 and is expected to win again this year. Even if Team Dignitas comes out on top, that doesn’t mean they will automatically take home the Summoner’s Cup.
The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) is down to its final few teams as the league’s playoffs get underway.
If a team wants a champion with CC, they will
either build a melee champion with the highest CC in the game, or they
will build a ranged champion with the highest range. A lot of time they don’t need to be as aggressive or take risks like they do in other match-ups, so you can’t just go up against them in an actual lane and do a lot of crazy stuff; you’re just too reliant on support items to make any moves.
