Types of Playable Characters
- Humans
- Augmented humans
- Transhumans
- A human entirely filled with internal replacements. Transhumans still have a biological brain, and said brain may potentially be modified.
- Semi-synthetic humans
- A human with a synthetic brain, in a biological, but manufactured body.
- Synthetic humans
- Entirely manufactured and non-biological. Usually indistinguishable from a biological human.
- Androids
- Noticeably non-human/non-humanoid. Uses a manufactured brain or CPU running SoulOS.
- Artificial Intelligence
- Artificial Intelligences may exist on appliances, in a human's Neural Stack, or independently within the SprawlNet.
- Exotics.
- Synth-Exotic, or Bio-Exotic, depending on material and implementation.
