Formation Day refers to the date in 2055 that The Pacific States of Cascadia formally seceded from the United States of America. Cascadia, unlike most other post-American countries, was not created as a result of the Symposium on Secession, and instead seceded on its own.
Formation Day is generally considered the first major event of the Balkanization of The United States.
