The big thing here is that we will be seeing builds like Lone Druid for the first time, and with the change of his damage being reduced its now a role that will have to be played in a very different way than its ever been played before. However, a true AD Carry, even if they have the right runes, might still find themselves lacking in the laning phase.

It can do ridiculous amounts of damage to a team if its picked correctly, and we’ve seen that more than once in the last few games. Although it’s a melee champion, it has a massive amount of health and is extremely hard to deal with. Such is the case with Team Liquid in league of legends build of Legends. It's the same with lvlan.

However if he gets the gold lead and gets to play a few more times before the games end, he could have some fun games. In most games, we see the AD Carry as a strong initiation threat.

But the new champion looks like a superhero with cartoonish features.
The only way this update would make sense is if the new champion had powers that the old champion didn't have - but the new champion doesn't have any extra special abilities.

It’s been a very enjoyable match up, and we’ve seen some good plays from it. Every team wants to build champions who will be the best in their role. One way to work around this is by utilizing a role swap, by which the team is able to play four distinct roles and be a cohesive unit.

The game is played by hundreds of millions of people every month.
A lot of people didn't get the new LoL update - but that's no bad thing.

The other thing that sets LoL apart is its support for a ton of different kinds of games.

As the tank it’s not going to have a massive amount of health and it’s not going to have a lot of damage. The game is now the third-most popular free-to-play game in the world.

There will be more information about LoL's next release on Tuesday.
LoL was one of the first major successes for game creator Riot Games, the company behind the hugely popular "League of Legends" game.

Whether it's a MOBA, a MMORPG, or a battle royale, the LoL engine has the unique ability to support all three genres in one game.

However, it’s been shown to make great ganks and it’s easy to control. Bots are used to test if a champ works in lvlan. A bot is a computer program that plays the game. If a team wants a champion with CC, they will either build a melee champ with the highest CC in the game, or they will build a ranged champ with the highest range. There's no evidence either way, but many of us doubt it.

We’re not expecting this guy to be the powerhouse that he was last year though, because he doesn’t deal a massive amount of damage and the health he has will mean that he will have a lot less of it than a full health champion would.

The bot lane, in its current iteration, can provide this farm by helping clear early pressure and allowing the AD Carry to focus on getting damage for late game. This champion’s a very different one to what we’ve seen before. If they want a support, then they will pick a champion with CC that does well in teamfights, such as a kitty.
As for building the lvlan builds. Building these champions is called "champion select".

Although it doesn’t really make the fights too interesting, it’s definitely more than just an extra melee carry. If the AD Carry has good kills but no farm, he might struggle to last into the mid game. To this day, a lot of League of Legends fans can't get over the fact that the developers of this game went from creating an open-world multiplayer experience in 2004's Summoner's War to building the largest MMO of them all in 2010.

In lvlan, bots will use the champions they build to test out the champ in the game. Every bot will pick a champion and test it out.

If the AD Carry is weak and doesn’t get the kills he needs, he’s going to get pushed and have less farm. It's a time when the team picks their champion, and the game starts.
But other teams will want to build an offensive or defensive role based champ.

Those are built by the bot/AI teams of the servers. The biggest change in the game for a couple of years, is that the way that the game works as a whole will be very different as a result. For example some champs may have great cc, and some great engage.

"League of Legends" has an in-game style of a cartoonish superhero with cartoonish visuals.

It’s going to make people think and play differently, but if the end result is a more interesting and balanced game then this has all been worth it. The biggest addition to the game since the beginning and it’s a lot of fun to think about playing against this tank.

However, in the early game, it can be hard for the AD Carry to get the farm needed to be viable in the late game.

Players will have to adapt their skills and play styles around this and as usual Riot have their own ideas about how it should work.

The role swap is not a "meta" in League of Legends, but it can be a tool to get a game-breaking composition. For an AD Carry that needs a lot of farm, it becomes problematic to play AD, as their primary job is to initiate team fights.

We'll never know if it would have been possible to create the same kind of game in 2004 with today's technology.
