Description

The British Raj (Officially The British Indian, Burman and Sri Lankan Raja) is a principality of the Kingdom of Britannia. The state is under the direct command of the British monarchy making it one of the few actual places where a direct monarchy still exists.

History

The British East India company had first say in India as a joint-stock company based in all colonies of the British Empire all the way back in 1600. After the Indian Rebellion of 1857, the rule of the British East India Company was transferred to the Crown in the person of Queen Victoria (who, in 1876, was proclaimed Empress of India). Unlike the universe that the reader is in, the British Empire had never let go of its colonies in a famous move that would change the world and its history forever, causing Britain to be the third player in the Cold War. Being such a large area in a place where it can exert its influence on both the Middle East and Asia, the Raja allowed Vietnam to fall to China in the 1960s and keeping Afghanistan supplied in its fight against the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The resources and people assisted and still helps the GKOB in its fight in Africa.
