National District of Columbia

The National District of Columbia (also known as D.C, or simply the District of Columbia (not to be confused with the District of Columbia, a state and former federal district within the United States) is a country on the central eastern coast of North America. The nation gained independence during the Balkanization of The United States. The National District of Columbia's northeast border with the New England Occupation Zone is currently the primary battleground for the Second Anglo-American War.
